Northern Norway is full of invisible spaces: spaces that means nothing to most people. But if one takes a closer look, there might be more to these places than meets the eye. This is a conversation between choreographer Maria Landmark and Ingvild Isaksen about finding the spark that can make a “dead” place come alive again, and how to negotiate performing arts with the everyday life of the space.

Katrine Strøm from Katma has recently made a performance at a cemetery in Tromsø. In this talk she is unfolding the navigation between artistic ambitions and the conventional expectations of the do´s and don´ts in a place where history is literally all over the place.
